Baptism Information To schedule a Baptism please call the parish office and speak with Father Rose.
Parents having their first child baptized will need to complete a Baptismal Preparation course before scheduling a baptism. Parents and godparents are required to take the Baptismal Prep Class together and can register for the class here. Baptisms are scheduled for members of Saint Joseph's Parish. Godparents: At least one Godparent of the child being baptized is required by Canon Law to be a practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church. |
Confirmation InformationThe Sacrament of Confirmation is administered regularly for those having completed 8th grade level CCD or those graduating 8th grade from Peru Catholic School. For more information or to enroll please contact the parish office or the Director of Religious Education.
Those not having received the Sacrament of Confirmation may contact the parish office to make arrangements to receive the Sacrament. |
Marriage InformationMarriages should be scheduled 6-8 months before the desired Wedding Date. Each couple will be prepared to enter marriage and meet the requirements for marriages within the Diocese of Peoria. Please contact the parish office to schedule your initial meeting and wedding date.

CCD - Religious Education2018—2019
CCD REGISTRATION CCD Registration will take place after all Masses on Sun., Aug. 19, 2017. Students who will be in first grade through 8th grade should register if not attending Catholic School. Two options of the same curriculum will be offered beginning this year. IN CLASS SESSION Classes will meet from 5:30—6:30 p.m. at Peru Catholic School. CCD classes begin Wed., Sept. 19th. HOME SCHOOL OPTION Students and parents will work through same curriculum as those attending the classroom sessions. Home school CCD students will have periodic required meetings with the Director of Religious Education to track progress. Cost is $100 for one child, $35 or each additional child. Fees are the same for both In–Class Sessions and Home School Tract. Fees may be paid at the time of registration. CCD classes or enrollment at Peru Catholic Grade School is required prior to receiving the Sacraments of First Holy Communion or Confirmation.
